Monica Dubray is a multi-media artist based in Detroit, Michigan. She grew up in Kalamazoo, later attending Western Michigan University, receiving her BFA in Graphic Design. While at WMU, she also gained indispensable gallerist and art handler experience at the university’s Gwen Frostic galleries, working on exhibitions for artists such as Willie Cole and Saya Woolfalk. Dubray’s practice was fueled by both design and fine art disciplines from that point forward.
After graduating in 2014, Dubray began her career as a creative leader in the Metro Detroit area. She has worked as an art director and illustrator for companies such as Whole Foods Market, StockX, Fanatics Sportsbook, and CAT Footwear to name a few. She wants to hear about your next project, and see photos of your pets.
